GMVA Pro Boys
Pro is a section of GMVA that is new in 2011, it is for older athletes, year 12 at secondary school to second year university. GMVA Pro is limited to a maximum of 12 athletes and is open to anyone, it's not just for regular GMVA athletes to try out for. During the 2011 season there will only be a GMVA Pro boys squad, but in 2012 we will start a GMVA Pro for girls also.
The GMVA Pro squad will is head coached by Luke Campbell and assisted by the GMVA scholarship coach Peter Rivett. While the main focus of the Pro squad will be indoor volleyball we still run a shorter beach volleyball cycle as it is very important that all athletes get exposure to both disciplines of volleyball.
While GMVA Pro is not a team that plays in the Victorian State League we are looking to play in the 7 regional events and Victorian Opens as a team.
